MODEC & Holtec Nitrogen Collaborating to Boost Exports

Thorstein Holt has been chosen as a Missouri District Export Council (MODEC) member with a 4 year term starting 1/1/2022 to help other companies grow their export business.

Export has always been an important part of Holtec’s business since the 1999 inception and it has been increasing every year for the last several years.  This has helped generate more jobs in Missouri and contributed to reducing the US trade deficit.  Thorstein is excited to start sharing Holtec’s export experience with other local companies to help them grow their export business.

The District Export Councils around the nation work with the U.S. Department of Commerce to support the expansion of export opportunities for U.S. companies and serve as a communication link between the business community and the U.S. Department of Commerce.
